Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, Herbalist, Doula
A Louisville native, Amelia is thrilled to combine her skills and interests in serving the community that she loves. Amelia first became acquainted with holistic medicine during her training at the Louisville School of Massage Therapy, which she attended while simultaneously earning her Bachelors at the University of Louisville. After graduating from both programs she cultivated her massage practice while working to expand her knowledge and skills to support families in the childbearing year.

Amelia came to Chinese medicine when western medicine had failed to provide relief for her own health concerns and was inspired by how greatly it could broaden her capacity to help others. She moved to Austin, Texas to complete her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.

Amelia takes special interest in fertility support, reproductive and perinatal health, mental health, pain management, and recovery support after injury or surgery. Her massage practice is primarily focused on prenatal and postpartum clients, and she will integrate massage into acupuncture treatment plans to achieve optimal results. She has advanced training with Spinning Babies for helping to achieve optimal fetal positioning. She is certified in infant massage instruction and is a DONA-trained birth doula, attending births since 2011.
