doctor of Physical Therapy

Eugene is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor of science in education and then continued his education at Bellarmine University where he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. Eugene has specialized in treating orthopedic conditions including rehab for the neck, shoulders, elbows, hands, back, hips, knees, and ankles as well as post-operative conditions.  Eugene is Level 1 Certified in both the FMS (Functional Movement Screen) and SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) to allow for assessment of injury and to provide a tailored and patient-specific treatment plan. Eugene utilizes the use of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and various other techniques such as cupping, kinesiotaping,  corrective taping, and patient education to provide optimal patient outcomes and to promote healthy movement patterns with the goal to prevent future re-injury.

Eugene enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and weight-lifting.
